Once your receiver has been activated during the first startup, startups with the Tailgater in the future take less than fifteen minutes. No need to worry about pointing or adjusting, the Tailgater is fully automatic and will find a satellite signal on its own, all it needs is a clear view of the southern sky. The Tailgater is powered via coaxial cable from the DISH receiver, and the DISH receiver must be plugged into an AC outlet. You can use an AC/DC converter to plug the receiver into your vehicle’s DC power supply, typically a 12V outlet.

Fans of cricket will rejoice! Today Willow Cricket launches in HD! The HD version is available to all DISH customers who currently subscribe to the Cricket Pack, the Willow Cricket a la carte channel, or the Hindi Mega Pack.
Willow Cricket is available a la carte for $14.99/month. It’s also offered in the Cricket Pack, along with channel Ten Cricket, for $19.99/month and the Hindi Mega Pack, with several other south Asian and Hindi favorites, for $54.99/month.
Ten Cricket, which is offered alongside Willow Cricket in the Cricket Pack and the Hindi Mega Pack, televises cricketing action from 5 International Cricketing Boards, including: West Indies, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. The presenters and analysts of Ten Cricket are well-known sports personalities, such as Ian Bishop, Tony Greig and Geoffrey Boycott. Ten Cricket also offers other exciting cricket properties from ICC Cricket World, Homes of Cricket, Simply the Best, and others.

DirecTV has made some additions to their “everywhere” service recently, including extending some basic features like DVR scheduling to their iPhone and Android apps. Features DISH customers have been enjoying with the Dish Remote Access app for years. So when DirecTV says “Everywhere”, what do they really mean? Do they mean you can go anywhere in the world with your iPhone, iPad, Android, tablet, laptop or other internet connected device and view your live DISH television service or DVR recordings, like you can with DISH and Sling’s TV Everywhere technology?
No. DirecTV’s “Everywhere” service allows you to control your DVR, view DVR and OnDemand content, and some live television when you’re out. For anything else you must be at home on the same internet connection as your DirecTV receiver. Seems a bit misleading to call it “Everywhere” then.
