Now and then monsters need a break from human civilization. When they’re looking for a break from the ordinary they like to relax in the spooky and creepy of Dracula’s Hotel Transylvania! To celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday, Dracula invites his friends Mummy, Woflman and his family, Frankenstein’s Monster and the Invisible Man for the weekend. At the same time ordinary young traveley Johnathan stumbles upon the establishment and decides to have a stay. Dracula must keep his friends entertained and under control while also trying to keep his daughter away from the intriguing new visitor!

The Lorax is a star studded remake and expansion of one of Dr. Suess’ most loved books. The Lorax follows Ted, voiced by Zac Efron, in his efforts to win the affections of his crush, Audrey (Taylor Swift). Ted and Audrey live in Thneedville, a town of plastic and metal. Audrey’s one wish is to see a real tree, and Ted sets off an adventure to grant that wish. His grandmother encourages him to vist the Once-ler, a recluse who agrees to teach Ted about the history of the trees, despite the protests of Thneedville’s mayor and owner of the bottle oxygen company.

Now DISH has announced an additional feature to Prime Time Anytime that has customers raising a call of joy: automatically skipping commercials. Known as Auto Hop, this feature allows you to automatically skip over commercials for most recorded HD Prime Time Anytime content.

Newlyweds Leo, Channing Tatum, and Paige, Rachel McAdams, are involved in a car accident that robs Paige of her memories of their courtship and wedding. Paige is torn between the family she remembers but seemed to have grown away from and the husband she sees as a stranger. Tatum delivers a dramatic and heartwarming performance as the husband who struggles to regain his wife, and McAdams matches his passion and sincerity.
The Vow is a decent movie about true love, it’s satisfying without being overwhelming. Though it’s not quite in the same league as McAdam’s The Notebook, easily the best romantic movie of the last decade and so far of this century, it’s still a pleasant romp and McAdam’s acting chops and Tatum’s comedic quips are sure to please.
The Vow will be showing on DISH Cinema starting May, 8th.
