The Lorax is a star studded remake and expansion of one of Dr. Suess’ most loved books. The Lorax follows Ted, voiced by Zac Efron, in his efforts to win the affections of his crush, Audrey (Taylor Swift). Ted and Audrey live in Thneedville, a town of plastic and metal. Audrey’s one wish is to see a real tree, and Ted sets off an adventure to grant that wish. His grandmother encourages him to vist the Once-ler, a recluse who agrees to teach Ted about the history of the trees, despite the protests of Thneedville’s mayor and owner of the bottle oxygen company.

Contagion is a medical thriller released in 2011 that explores a sudden viral transmission that leads to a pandemic. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kate Winslet. The narrative follows several story lines revolving around the virus outbreak, from health officials trying to contain the pandemic to the break down of society as more and more people become sick.

The American Film Institutes ‘s 100 Years, 100 Movies is an archive of the best films of the last 100 years. Determined by a jury of 1,500 film artists, critics and historians the films presented are classics such as Rear Window and Citizen Kane, more modern films like The Godfather and Rocky, and even newer blockbusters like Titanic and Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings.
